I-35 Capital Express South Project Plan – Slaughter Creek to north of Onion Creek Parkway – Audio Transcript

As we travel south, the northbound managed lane exit is shown using a green arrow. The existing ramps shown on this sheet would all remain in their current locations.

I also want to take this opportunity to point out the shared-use paths highlighted in light yellow along both the northbound and southbound frontage roads. Shared-use paths are two-way bicycle and pedestrian paths typically 8 to 10 feet in width that are separated from vehicular traffic.

The South project would add 13 miles of new shared-use paths in addition to the 3 miles of recently constructed shared-use paths constructed as part of the I-35 from Stassney Lane to William Cannon Drive projects.

The new managed lanes and mainlanes would travel under the Slaughter Creek Overpass, and the southbound managed lane exit is highlighted using a green arrow.
